Blomfeld ale zprvu není ochotný mluvit. Až pokus jiného vězně zabít Blomfelda přiměje bývalého policistu uvažovat o možnosti doznání, v Pollsmooru však pracují další účastníci vraždy, kteří nechtějí, aby fakta byla odhalena…".
