Movie Story "A film az 1965. év viharos három hónapjának krónikája, amikor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. veszélyes kampányba kezdett: azt kívánta elérni, hogy a kormány egyenlő szavazati jogot biztosítson mindenkinek. A Selmából Montgomery-be vonuló epikus menet történetét láthatjuk megelevenedni a vásznon, ami a polgárjogi mozgalom egyik legjelentősebb győzelmében csúcsosodott ki: Johnson elnök aláírta az 1965-ös szavazati jogról szóló törvényt.
